Week 2 is underway! Muscle-wise, not as painful as the first few days of Workout 1. Getting easier that way. But Jillian has definitely upped the ante in the compound moves and cardio segments. I gave it my all this morning, especially during the first set of each circuit. Second set, I was doing the modified version AND dropping out for a five-second rest. Kept with the 5 lbs dumbbells though. Very pleased about that!
Getting out of my workout comfort zone is having a positive effect on the scale. I’ve been stuck in the 160s for a long time. Today I got on the scale and to my surprise, I’m at 158! I’ve been as low as 135 but at 5 ft 6, it was too thin and I didn’t feel my best. My goal weight is a strong, lean 145 lbs.
Needed a third cup of tea this morning. Still mulling over last night’s episode of TBL. Update likely tomorrow!

You’re doing the extra DVDs though, which is VERY impressive. I held on to the 5s but I know my form was…lacking. :0) One. One smiley face! Okay, two. :0)

Thanks Cynthia – I was really pleased to see that number. I don’t know what made me step on the scale, but I’m going to keep doing it once a week throughout the challenge. Did you get a chance to watch this week’s BL?
